Neighborhood: This cozy, furnished apartment is situated on the edge of the 11th and 20th Arrondissements on Boulevard de Charonne, between Boulevard de Ménilmontant and Rue de Bagnolet in Paris. One short block from the Philippe Auguste metro station (Line 2), this accommodation is close to many restaurants, cafes, shops and markets. Premises: This 44m² (approx. 470 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is on the first floor (second floor in the U.S.) of a 19th century building. The entry gate has an intercom system and the door has a digicode security system. This leads to a hallway with the elevator and stairs. Upon entering the apartment, there is an entry hall that provides access to all the rooms. To the immediate right is a fully equipped kitchen with a window, a combo refrigerator/freezer, a washer, an oven and a four-burner stove. There is a small breakfast table and chairs as well. The next door off the entry hall is the toilet. Following that is the 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) bedroom, which has a double-glazed window facing a quiet courtyard. The bedroom has a double bed, a writing desk, a TV, and a DVD player. The tiled bathroom is accessible from the bedroom via an opening hidden by curtains. It has a bathtub with a showerhead and washbasin. Finally, off the entry hall is the 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) living room with a large south-facing, double-glazed window offering great light. To the right is a dining table with four chairs. The sofa is convertible to a guest double bed and the window has remote control Venetian blinds. There are also two sitting chairs and a glass top coffee table and a sideboard with a stereo. There is Internet access (wireless connection also available) Heat and hot water use gas and are individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Philippe Auguste (Line 2).
