Charming one-bedroom duplex in the heart of St. Michel area
|
Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment has an exquisite view of the Seine and Notre Dame and is very close to the small pedestrian streets of the Quartier Latin in Paris. In addition to lots of restaurants, nice pubs, and cafes, downhill is the well-known Maubert open-air market and, a little farther, the Mouffetard open-air market, with fresh French bread and pastries, choice fruits, vegetables, cheese, and seafood. All around this accommodation are many other fine stores, select restaurants, and supermarkets.
Premises:
This 42m² (approx. 450 sq. ft.) one-bedroom duplex apartment is located on the third floor of a well-maintained 17th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a second door with a coded system. This opens into a hallway that leads to the staircase.
The apartment entrance opens into a large hall with a window that leads to the double living room and the open kitchen. A wood ladder goes upstairs to the bedroom and the bathroom. The toilette is located under the ladder.
The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) double living room has a tiled floor and two windows with curtains that overlook a courtyard. It is furnished with a cupboard, a dining table with chairs, a cable TV, a single-size bed and, hidden by curtains, a wardrobe and shelves.
The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a microwave oven, a small refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster and a washing machine.
Upstairs, the 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table, an armchair and a chest of drawers. It has a parquet floor and two skylights with shutters.
The narrow tiled bathroom is fitted with a shower cabin and a washbasin.
The apartment is also equipped with a vacuum, an iron, an ironing board, a hairdryer, and a fan.
Internet is also available.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Cluny - La Sorbonne (line 10) and St. Michel (line 4 and RER B).
