This furnished apartment is located on Rue Caulaincourt between Square Caulaincourt and Rue Durantin in Montmartre, the center of Paris's great 19th and 20th-century art movements. Renowned artists like Berlioz and Picasso lived and worked in this district, and their unconventional lifestyle is kept alive by a number of Montmartre residents today. Nearby, the Sacred Heart Basilica promenade offers a panoramic view of Paris, and the charming Place du Tertre is a must-see. All sorts of shops and services, as well as the notable fruit and vegetable market on Rue Lepic, are close to this accommodation.
Premises:
This 32m² (approx. 344 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor of a 19th-century walk-up building. The entrance gate features a coded security system and opens into a hallway that leads to a courtyard. Another gate opens onto the staircase landing. The entrance door opens into the living room and open kitchen. The bedroom and separate bathroom are accessible via the main room.
The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) living room has a window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with two single-size sofa beds, two armchairs, a modern coffee table, a folded dining table with chairs, a closet, and a cabinet with a television.
The open kitchen has four vitroceramic plates, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee-maker, a kettle and a toaster.
The 6m² (approx. 65 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with two single-size beds, a bedside table, and a closet.
The separate bathroom has a window, a shower topped with a showerhead, a washbasin, some closets, a towel dryer, and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For a convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station are Marcadet-Poissoniers (Lines 4,12) and Anvers (Line 2).
