Studio apartment in Chatelet les Halles area
Neighborhood:

This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue de la grande Truanderie between Rue Pierre Lescot and Rue Mondetour. This is an excellent location close to many significant points of interest like the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, City Hall, the Louvre Museum, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Due to its proximity to attractions, this location can be noisy. Rue de la grande Truanderie neighbors the authentic, lively village of residential and commercial streets known as Quartier Montorgueil, which is mostly pedestrian due to the retractable boundary marks that let in exclusively residents' vehicles. A favorite neighborhood of the gourmands, it is renowned for the quality of its father-to-son grocery stores, and for having long been the domain of fashion designers. Not far from this accommodation, the cobblestoned Rue Montorgueil is the heart of the area and features remarkable restaurants and pleasant cafes.

Premises:

This 15m² (approx. 161 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the second floor of a 17th-century walk-up building. The entrance gate with a coded security system opens into a corridor leading to the staircase.
The entrance door opens onto the main room and the open kitchen. There is also a separate bathroom and a separate toilet.

The 12m² (approx. 129 sq. ft.) main room has a window with western exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a trundle bed that can be used as a queen-size bed, two large built-in closets, a small dining table with chairs, and a cabinet surmounted by a television and DVD-player.

The open kitchen is hidden behind a door, and is equipped with an electric plate, a combination microwave/oven, a refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee-maker, and some cooking utensils.

The separate bathroom has a washbasin and a shower topped by a showerhead.
There is also a separate toilet.

Heat and hot water are both electric.

For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations is Châtelet les Halles (lines 1,4,7,14, RER A,B, D).
