This furnished one-bedroom apartment is located on Rue Lepic in the Montmartre section of Paris. The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable. At the end of the 19th century, this area was a mecca for artists, writers and poets. It maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. One of Paris' most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation, such as the picturesque fruit and vegetable market situated on Rue Lepic.
Premises:
This 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the sixth and top floor of a 19th century building with an elevator. There are three steps to access the apartment. The entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and opens into a corridor with a second door protected by an intercom that leads to the elevator and staircase.
The entrance door opens into a corridor leading to the bathroom, the bedroom, the kitchen and the living room.
The 17m² (approx.180 sq. ft.) living room has 3 double-glazed windows (with curtains) overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a sofa, a dining table, a console with a TV, a VCR , a stereo and a DVD player. There are also a desk, a mezzanine with a single size bed and a bookshelf.
The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed and a large closet.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with 2 electric plates, a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
The bathroom has a window and is fitted with a washbasin, a shower and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is « Abbesses » (line 12).
