Neighborhood:
One of the most renowned French monuments, the Hotel Royal des Invalides built under King Louis XIV is a masterpiece of 17th century architecture. It houses the Army Museum, the Contemporary History Museum, the Libération Association Museum, and the Plans et Relieves Museum. It is also close to the majestic Eiffel Tower, facing the splendid Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens, to the Seine River and Trocadero Place. The neighborhood offers elegant fashion boutiques and convenience shops as well as select restaurants and cafes.
Premises:
This 25m˛ (approx. 270 sq. ft.) furnished studio is located on the first floor of a 20th century walk up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a hall with a second door with a concierge. It opens into a courtyard and leads to the building.
The entrance door opens into the hallway, with straigh ahead the kitchen and on the right-hand side the main room.
The 16m˛ (approx. 160 sq. ft.) main room has a parquet floor and two double glazed windows facing the courtyard with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a sofa / trundle bed, a table with two chairs, a console with a DVD player and its screen and a built in closet.
The separate kitchen has a window. It has four gas burners topped by an exhaust fan, a fridge, a microwave, an oven, a coffee maker and a kettle.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a toilet, a washing machine and a washbasin.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
The nearest metro station is « Invalides » (Line 8, 13 ) and RER C.
