Neighborhood:
Situated in a mostly residential, traditional Parisian district, this apartment is close to the Montparnasse area, which has a number of charming squares and all sorts of boutiques, as well as restaurants, pleasant cafes, open-air markets, supermarkets, and convenience shops. Montparnasse is known for Paris' tallest office tower, the Tour Montparnasse, and for its theatre district around Rue de la Gaîté. This area borders the famous Sixth Arrondissement, where you can find fashion shops and diverse restaurants and cafes. It is also close to the Invalides with the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire and the Parc du Champs de Mars, which stretches down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine.
Premises:
This 50 m² (approx. 540 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the ground floor of a 1930 building. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a corridor, which leads to a 300m² courtyard. The studio apartment is located on this courtyard.
The 25m² (approx. 270 sq. ft.) main room has a tiled floor and 4 windows with curtains that overlook the courtyard; exposure is south. It is furnished with a sofa, a dining table with four chairs, a decorative fireplace and a TV. It connects with a mezzanine with a double size bed and bookshelves. There are 3 skylights.
The open kitchen is equipped with two electric plates topped by an exhaust fan, a fridge, a microwave and a kettle. It has a window.
The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet. In the corridor which gives access to the bathroom, there is a large built-in closet.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building.
The nearest metro stations are Pasteur (lines 6 and 12) and Volontaire (line 12); it is also close to four bus lines (88, 70, 89, 39).
