Neighboring the Esplanade des Invalides, this studio apartment is located on Rue Surcouf between Rue de l'Université and Rue Saint Dominique. One of the most honored French monuments, the Hotel Royal des Invalides, built under King Louis XIV, is a masterpiece of 17th century architecture, housing the Army Museum, the Contemporary History Museum, the Libération Association Museum, and the Plans et Relieves Museum. It is also close to the majestic Eiffel Tower, facing the splendid Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens, to the Seine River, and to Trocadero Place. The neighborhood offers elegant fashion boutiques and convenience shops, as well as a number of select restaurants and cafes.
Premises:
This 30m2 (approx 320 sq ft) studio apartment is located on the third floor of a 19th century walk up building. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a courtyard. Then a corridor leads to the staircase.
The entrance door opens into the main room and the open kitchen. There is also a separate bathroom.
The 25m2 (approx 270 sq ft) main room has two double glazed windows with eastern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, an armchair, a coffee table, a wall-mounted flat screen TV, a small modern style closet, as well as a built in closet. There is also a dining table with three chairs.
The open kitchen is equipped with two induction plates topped by an exhaust fan, a combo microwave/grill, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet. There is also a washing machine.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro station is Invalides (line 8,13,RER C).
