This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue de Bourgogne between Rue de Grenelle and Rue de Varenne. It is located in only a few minutes walking distance to Rue de Varenne with the Rodin Museum, which contains various works as well as the personal collection of Rodin and has a garden dotted with sculptures including the "Burghers of Calais" and "The Gates of Hell". Also within short walking distance is the Musee d'Orsay and the well-known monument Hotel des Invalides from the 17th century, in which Napoleon Bonaparte's tomb is located on a lower level. The nearby Boulevard Saint Germain, known for its choice fashion shops, offers celebrated restaurants and cafes that in the past were frequented by renowned intellectuals.
Premises:
This 52m2 (approx 560 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the fourth and top floor of a 19th century walk up building. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a courtyard. Then a second gate protected by a coded security system opens into a hall with staircase.
The entrance door opens into a corridor, which links the bedroom, the separate toilet and the living room. The separate kitchen is accessible by the living room. The bedroom has a private bathroom.
The 20m2 (approx 215 sq ft) living room has a window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, some shelves and a small dining table.
The 10m2 (approx 105 sq ft) bedroom has a window with southern exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, a chest of drawers, a TV, a VCR and a DVD player.
The bathroom has a bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a heated towel rack. There is also a washing machine.
There is also a separate toilet with washbasin.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four vitro-ceramic gas burners topped by an exhaust fan, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is a dining table with two chairs.
Heat and hot water are both in gas.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Varenne (line 13), Invalides (lines 13,8, RER C) and Solferino (line 12).
