This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue Saint Martin, a Pedestrian street located between rue de Rivoli and rue Rambuteau.
Just next to the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, this street is close to the Les Halles Mall, which means in about 10 minutes walking distance to the Louvre Museum and the adjoining Royal Tuileries Garden, as well as to the Seine River with its unique islands - Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame Cathedral berth, and the delightful Ile Saint Louis - a must see. In addition to the French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, all sorts of facilities are easily found in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 35m2 (approx 375 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a 17th century walk up building.
The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a hall. Then a second gate protected by an intercom opens into another hall with staircase.
The entrance door opens into a corridor, which leads to the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom has a private bathroom and the living room has an opened kitchen.
The 20m2 (approx 215 sq ft) living room has two windows with eastern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a coffee table, a bar and two stools, a chest of drawers, some shelves, a desk and a chair, a dining table and chairs as well as a console surmounted by a flat screen TV and a stereo.
The 8m2 (approx 85 sq ft) bedroom has a window with western exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed and a bedside table, a closet and a chest of drawers.
The bathroom has a bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
The open kitchen is equipped with four vitro-ceramic burners topped by an exhaust fan, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker and a kettle. There is also a combo washing machine/dryer.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro station is Chatelet (lines 1,4,7,11,14, RER A, RER B).
