This furnished studio apartment with mezzanine is located on Rue Joseph de Maistre between Rue Damrémont and Rue Eugène Carrière.
Montmartre is a district inseparable from art. At the end of the 19th century, this area of Paris was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintained its physical charm and the village atmosphere remained remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. One of Paris' most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation.
Premises:
This 28m2 (approx 300 sq ft) studio apartment with mezzanine is located on the second and top floor of a 19th century walk up building.
The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a hall. Then a second gate protected by a coded security system opens into another hall with staircase.
The entrance door opens into the living room and the open kitchen. A staircase leads to the mezzanine. There is also a bathroom.
The 23m2 (approx 245 sq ft) living room has a window with western exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a closet, some shelves, a desk and a chair, as well as a console.
A staircase leads to the 5m² (approx 55 sq ft) mezzanine with a 100 to 180cm high ceiling. This mezzanine has a skylight and is furnished with a double size bed, a chest of drawers and some decorative items.
The open kitchen is separate from the living room by a bar and two stools. It has a window and is equipped with four vitro-ceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, a combo microwave/oven, a combo refrigerator/freezer, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a washing machine.
The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin, a heated towel rack and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both collective.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro station is Lamarck-Caulaincourt (line 12).
