Large Modern Studio in Saint Germain des Prés
|
Situated between Rue Bonaparte and Rue de Seine.
This luminous 40m2 studio-overlooking garden is on the fifth French floor (i.e: 89 steps from the ground floor) of a late 16th century building with natural stones and wood beams walls at ground floor with a stairway to climb. The studio facing south has a security code system and can accommodate two persons.
The layout of this studio is long and narrow and is divided as follows, at the entrance the kitchen is to the right, to the left dining room, sitting area, living/bedroom area and ending with the bathroom. The décor is contemporary.
Most walls are done in off white color with light blue carpets, the kitchen has red tiles over counter and white tiles floor and the bathroom is cover by blue/turquoise small tiles. The ceilings are 1,90m to 2,40m high throughout the apartment.
The separate 10m2 dining room has a wood rectangular table with four matching chairs and a window.
Going down four steps we have an open sitting area, a built in corner bookshelves, a chair, a radio and a second window.
The open 18m2 living/bedroom area has a comfortable double sofa, a rectangular wood coffee table, a chair, a TV, an area carpet, a phone and a lamp. Against the wall there are two built in closets with cabinet space and two windows side by side with shades at the exterior. Throughout the studio there are paintings on the walls and other decorative pieces. The telephone is restricted to reception calls, outgoing calls can be made with a card.
The separate kitchen has an electric two-burner hotplate, an exhaust fan, a small fridge, a single sink, a coffee maker, and cabinets with drawers and a fifth window.
The separate bathroom has washbasin with mirror over it, a nice bathtub with showerhead, a toilet and a washing machine.
Situated in the historical district of Saint Germain des Pres with its elegant, trendy streets known for the many stylish fashion shops, antiques' shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants and pubs, and cinemas. Also, in the area there are excellent quality services such as the well-known daily Buci' open air market, bakeries with their delicious French baguettes, and supermarkets. It is also in a short walking distance to the Seine River and the delightful Ile Saint Louis, and not far from Luxembourg gardens.
The closet metro station is Saint Germain des Pres (line 4).
