Cozy and Very Calm Apartment in Marais
|
Silent tiny street situated in the Marais, between Rue Reaumur and Rue des Gravilliers.
Ceiling genuine beams give much warmth to this charming 30m2 apartment located on the 2nd French floor of a well-maintained 17th century building having a security system and an elevator. It has bedding for four people.
Adapted to suit the current needs it has off-white painted walls and a white tiled floor, divided into a living room, an American kitchen, a bedroom, bathroom, and separated restroom.
The cozy 19m2 living room placed straight after the main door is fitted out with a brown double sofa bed, a wooden coffee table settled on an area rug, and a rectangular wooden dining table and two straw bottomed chairs (four extra folding chairs available). In addition there is a console where are the TV, VCR, and Hi Fi stereo, paintings, lamps, ceiling built-in spotlights, a nice gilded frame mirror, and a window with white short curtains opening to the courtyard.
To the left side of the entrance, open to the living room the American kitchen is equipped with four vitro ceramic burners, a hood with fan, a microwave oven, a small fridge, and a washing/drying machine. It also has cupboards containing the utensils above and below the wooden worktop, and two brown metallic sinks.
Having a white painted wooden floor and placed to the right side of the entrance the 11m2 bedroom consists on a double bed with a little console and lamp, two corner closets, and recessed shelves. A painting decorates one of the walls, and the window with view on the courtyard is garnished with short curtains.
Through the bedroom is the access to the bathroom and separated restroom.
In the black and white tiled bathroom there is a small bathtub with showerhead, a washbasin with a cabinet above and a compact closet below, and ceiling beams.
Little and very calm street of the Marais, one of the few neighborhoods of Paris still having preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. This area encloses the famous pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, residential and comercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmonger's, and restaurants, and, a little farther, the royal Place des Vosges, place of residence of many historic personalities where are many precious museums. Most of the points of interest such the Centre Georges Pompidou, a large cultural center famous for its architecture also known as Beaubourg, the City Hall, the Seine River, and the Louvre Museum are in a fair distance.
The closest metro station is Arts et Metiers (line 3).
