Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is situated between Place Chopin and Boulevard Franklin. A calm, strictly residential street situated in one of the most select areas of Paris, it is near Trocadero Place and the esplanade which offers the best view of the Tour Eiffel on the beautiful Champs de Mars. The majestic Arc de Triomphe, placed in the middle of the famous Place de l'Etoile, is in short walking distance. It has a remarkable alignment with the Obelisk, Place de la Concorde, the Carroussel and the Pyramide du Louvre on one side, and the Arche de la Defense on the other side. In the vicinity of this accommodation are fashionable shops, fine restaurants, cafes, and all kinds of services. Premises: Refined and tastefully decorated, this 100m² (approx. 1,075 sq. ft.) apartment south and northwest exposed is located on the sixth French floor of an elegant 19th century building with a security system and an elevator. It can accommodate up to three couples. White walls enhance a beautiful herringbone patterned floor. All the windows, decorated with white net curtains, overlook the street on one side and part of the Seine River and Parisian rooftops on the other side. Beyond the entrance, a roomy hall decorated with an antique, marble-topped console with a gilded frame mirror, two wall-mounted spotlights and area rugs, opens to all the other rooms. To the left are the living room, the guest bedroom, and bathroom. The master bedroom faces the main door. To the right is the eat-in kitchen The comfortable 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows overlooking the street. This room has an air conditioner and is divided into two parts. The first part, the living room, is furnished with a pleasant marine blue sofa, armchairs with walnut armrests, a large glass coffee table, a light brown and beige area rug, an antique chest of drawers, and a double-size sofa bed. It also has a flat screen cable TV , a DVD home theatre and a stereo. The second part is the dining area, which has an antique and extendable rectangular dining table with upholstered chairs, a lacquered 19th century display cabinet, an Indonesian sculpted chest, an antique desk, a wall-to-wall built-in bookcase, and a table linen display cabinet. There are also Oriental decorative objects, nice lamps, and naïf and still life paintings. Across the living room, to the left, the 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) guest bedroom is furnished with a double sofa bed, a black armchair, a wooden seat, and a floor-to-ceiling wall-mounted mirror. This room can be separated from the rest of the living room by a wooden trellis sliding door. The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) bedroom is fitted out with a double bed with bedside cabinets and lamps, an antique desk, a decorative fireplace, a built-in mirrored sliding door closet and other built-in closets, a TV with an antenna, and a nice area rug. There is also an air conditioner. In the well-equipped, eat-in-kitchen, the white cabinets and drawers contain all the necessary utensils. The four vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood and double white sinks are installed on one of the worktops; this faces the second one. It also has a traditional electric oven, a microwave, an American refrigerator and freezer with an icemaker, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. At the bottom of the kitchen are a marble-topped small dining table with wrought iron legs and white folding chairs, a wooden dresser, a little cupboard, a telephone/fax machine, and a window. The pleasant, all-white bathroom has a bathtub with a mounted shower protected by a glass screen and a white ceramic washbasin with shelves on both sides of the mirror with cabinets above and below. In addition there is a large built-in closet and a window. There is also a separate toilette accessible from the entrance hallway. Heat is collective with the building, but the air conditioner and some extra gas heat can also be used. Hot water is also collective with the building. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro is Passy (line 6).
