Paris Accommodation - 3 Bedroom Rental in Trocadéro (PA-1087)

The apartment is the owner's home so as such, you are staying in someone'e home rather than a regular rental. There are many objects from around their travels and although this makes the apartment very interesting and unique, it would not be necessarily appropriate for children staying as the danger exists for breaking things. The sofa bed could be updated. More hangers are needed as there were only four at the time of our visit. the owner is helpful and accomodating as well as quite an interesting individual.

The apartment was spacious, clean, had air conditioning that worked splendidly throughout the apartment. The appliances that we used - washer, dryer, microwave were in perfect working order. The refrigerator leaked water on and off (we informed the owner and she said it happened once in a while) . The TV set in the living room worked perfectly, the one in the bedroom had no cable service (and therefore, had no image and could not use). Once you got used to the different keyboard, the computer available worked fine although we could not connect additional items (ipad, iphone, our computer) to the wireless.

The building was clean and very well located (half block from metro station, walking distance to the Eiffel Tour, Palais de Chaillot, Place du Trocadero, near restaurants and bakeries). After a few days the people at the bakery and corner restaurant greeted us like old friends! The neighborhood was quiet, clean, and felt very safe.
The owner was friendly and tried to make us feel at home. She even helped us find transportation to the airport.

The only drawback to this wonderful apartment was the fact that, since apparently the owners have traveled quite extensively, they have a very ample assortment of mementos throughout the apartment-you have to be very careful walking around the apartment and there are not enough empty surfaces to put your own things. As an example, the side of the bathtub is filled with beautiful shells (more than 30 in different sizes) which make it impossible to find a place for your shampoo bottle or anything else for that matter.

Again, it is a large apartment, very clean, great neighborhood-the only suggestion I can make is that the next time they rent it, the owners should put away more of their personal mementos so that there is more room in, for example, the night tables, the living room table, and the bathtub. Would I recommend the apartment...definitely!

We love so much the apartment and the area where it is located [Trocadero]. Maintenance of the building is excellent considering date of construction (1920) [...]

The apartment was terrific, as good as advertised...the owner was extremely pleasant and helpful, and really went out of her way to make it a pleasurable experience...can't say enough good things about it...
