Calm Studio in the Heart of Latin Quarter
|
Situated between the Rue Pot de Fer and the Rue Thouin, this calm apartment is in the heart of the Latin Quarter.
A lively and commercial street neighboring the biggest Paris University, Jussieu, and very close to the Arenes de Lutece, the Roman arena of the ancient city where circus games took place in the past, and also of a theater that has nowadays the functions of an amphitheater. At a five minute walking distance from the Museum of Natural History with its numerous gardens and animals, the Pantheon containing the remains of many great French men and a Mosque. The area abounds with restaurants, pubs, cinemas, and all sorts of services.
This walk-up building dates from the 17th century and has two gates with security codes at the entrance.
Located on the first floor, this studio is 16m2 with one window overlooking the planted courtyard and East exposure. On the interior, the window is decorated with venetian blinds and black out drapes.
The living space is decorated with wood floors; beige wallpaper and the wooden beams of the original construction are visible on the ceiling.
The furniture consists of a sofa bed (140 wide), a small table with a reading lamp, a wooden chair, a wooden hanging closet, a dining table with two side chairs and to one corner of the room there are built in shelves and a TV. There is a portable electric heater.
The open kitchen is equipped with a small fridge, a microwave oven, a coffee machine, two electric burners and a stainless steel sink.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a sink, a mirror and a toilet. The walls and the floor are covered with brown tiles. There is also an electric air extractor.
Heating and Water Heater : Electric Phone restricted to incoming calls (or use of Prepaid Cards)
The nearest metro stations are Place Monge (line 7) and Jussieu (line 10).
