Barge on the Seine River

Located on the Seine River, in front of the Sèvres ceramics museum, at only three metro stations from the residential 16th arrondissement this atypical place, a large 1899 barge, has been transformed into a 170 m² housing facing Paris and Boulogne. A place where you feel like nowhere else in Paris. A few steps down from the deck is the 50m² living room. This room is very bright with 8 portholes and a long opening skylight. It is furnished with carpets, a sofa bed (140 wide), leather armchairs, a coffee table, a TV, a VCR and a stereo system. Telephone is restricted to local calls and included in the rent. Towards the bow, the living room opens onto a fully equipped and separate eat-in kitchen for 6 persons. It is fitted with a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge and freezer (combo), four vitro ceramic burners, a stainless sink, an oven, a washing machine and dryer (combo), a coffee maker, a toaster. Following the kitchen, on the left-hand side, is a first bedroom with a single bed (90 wide). Further, going towards the bow, is another bedroom with a double bed (140 wide) and a desk. At the bow is a bathroom, with a toilet on the right-hand side and a washbasin surmounted by a mirror on the left-hand side. From the living room, going to the stern, is a small wooden hallway which leads to the master bedroom. Before entering the bedroom, on the right-hand side is a shower room, on the left-hand side are a separate toilet with sanibroyeur and a walk-in closet. The master and third bedroom is furnished with a bed (140 wide) raised on a wooden step and a desk corner on the right-hand side. Two portholes and a skylight lighten it. Outside, along the water, is a small flourished pedestrian way, hiding a tramway line. Central heating and water heater : fuel oil The nearest metro stations are : Pont de Sèvres, (line 9) - La Defense (line 1 - RER A) Tramway 2 Station: Musée de Sèvres La Defense.
