Three bedroom apartment close to Gare de l'Est
|
Situated in the Grands Boulevards area, between Boulevard de Bonne Nouvelle and Rue du Faubourg Poissonière.
The 'Grands Boulevards' area is a lively district composed of boulevards like de la Madeleine, des Italiens, St-Martin, des Capucines, Montmartre, Poissonnière, St-Denis, Bonne-Nouvelle, des Filles du Calvaire, Beaumarchais and du Temple, and intersections of shorter streets. In addition to the remarkable passageways such as Verdeau, des Panoramas, and Jouffroy as well as the Vivienne gallery, there is much to see. A short distance away by metro or bus are other places of interest such as the Opera, Champs Elysées, and Saint Germain des Près.
While the area has not yet been gentrified, the gardens' installation in this neighborhood received an award from City Hall in 2006 for its quality. Also, since about 2003, many contemporary artists and designers have been drawn to the area.
Very calm and comfortable 160m2 three-bedroom apartment located on the third floor of a 19th century building renovated in 2004, equipped with a security system and an elevator. The entrance gate is protected by a security system and intercom. East and west oriented the apartment walls are white painted, and most of the windows open to pleasant private gardens of nice neighboring buildings, and full sky.
First is a hall having built in closets with mirrored doors, and a window. To the right side is a separate eat-in kitchen. Bright and spacious, right after the hall, the 45m2 living room faces the main door. At the bottom of this last one is the 17m2 master bedroom. Back to the entry hall, to the left side, at the end of a corridor enclosing built in closets, is the 28m2 bedroom communicating with the next 15m2 children bedroom. There are two bathrooms, as well as a separate toilet.
Three large windows facing the garden enlighten the pleasantly decorated living room. On one side there is a dining table and matching chairs, and on the other side two sofas, armchairs, a bookcase and bookshelves. There also is a cable TV, VCR and DVD player, a stereo and a telephone (restricted to incoming calls).
Furnished with a double bed (160 wide), a decorative fireplace, two chairs, and floor to ceiling bookshelves, the master bedroom has a window looking over the garden.
The second bedroom is fitted out with a double size bed and a raised single bed (90 wide) accessible through a mobile ladder, a piano, a desk and a chair, built in closets, bookshelves, and two windows facing the courtyard.
In the third bedroom there are bunk beds (90cm wide each), a desk and a chair, and built in closets. The window also opens to the courtyard. Spacious and mostly white tiled the eat-in-kitchen has a dining table and stools, and a window. It is fully equipped with four gas burners, a traditional electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a combo fridge and freezer, and a second fridge, a coffee maker, a toaster. All necessary utensils are put away in the cupboards. There is also a washing machine and a separate dryer.
In the first white tilled bathroom fitted out with a bathtub and hand-held showerhead, a wide mirror and spotlights above the two washbasins, and cupboards below, there is a large window.
The second smaller bathroom is also white tiled and has a tiled shower cabin and a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and spotlights.
