Located between Avenue Moreau and Avenue Simon Bolivar, this studio apartment is just a few steps away from the Belleville area.
The Belleville area is characterized by an artist (painters, writers, sculptures), community who lives around the place as well as a real village and family spirit (the area around the apartment is actually called the 'village'). There is a lot of food stores and a wide range of bakeries, wineries, fresh fruits and vegetables shops, supermarkets.
Within a little walking distance is the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, the largest park of Paris, very agreeable for a relaxing stroll, also not far from the apartment is the Park de la Vilette. With its 30 hectares, just beside it are the Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie and the Geode with its 180 degrees' cinema screen.
In a short distance are the Menilmontant area and the rue Oberkampkf, known as one of the trendiest place in Paris at the moment, with many diverse restaurants, nightclubs and trendy bars having been set up over the past few years. Places such as the Marais area, the Louvre Museum, or the Seine River are in 10 to 15 minutes by metro from the apartment.
Located on the ground floor of a building protected by 2 code systems, this 18m2 studio has carpeting and plastic floor. The window overlooks westward on a private courtyard and has shutters.
The main door opens onto the main room with on the left a kitchen corner and then a door opening onto a shower room.
The living room with carpeting is furnished with a double futon sofa bed, a dining table with 2 chairs, a coffee table, a closet and shelves. There is also a cable TV/VCR combo (30 channels including BBC/CNN) and a stereo.
There is a telephone. High speed Internet Access is available
The kitchen corner with plastic floor is equipped with 2 electric plaques, a sink, a toaster, a microwave, a fridge and a coffee maker.
The shower room with plastic floor has a shower with a wall mounted shower hander, a washbasin with a mirror and a WC.
The nearest metro station is Colonel Fabien Line 2.
