Central location with easy access by metro everywhere. Great owners who were very responsive when their assistance was needed. Would consider recommending to friends and staying there again.

Apartment overpriced. Apartment clustered. TV antiquated and did not function during the entire stay. Traveling up two floors on a narrow spiraling stair case . Warm owners, met us on arrival, explained more or less the things to know, Spoke to the owners by phone twice. Saw them once . Location very lively nY

Hello, Following your remarks after your stay in my apartment from April 1 to April 19, 2019, here is my answer to the different points you mentioned. This is actually an old walk-up building but I think you were aware of this thanks to the description provided by New York Habitat.
Furniture is also old (18th or 19th century) as you could see on the pictures of the agency's website.
This is important for me because I think that it adds to the apartment's charm. I am surprised about your remark on cleanliness as nobody ever complained about this during all these years, but I will take a closer look at it. Regarding its general condition, the apartment will be repainted very soon. As for noise, the bedroom's window, which looks out onto boulevard Edgar Quinet, is soundproofed and the living room's windows overlook a very quiet courtyard. The rental price is set by the agency and seems absolutely reasonable to me given the surface of the apartment and the convenience of the Montparnasse area. Regarding television, I am sorry for this inconvenience and it will be replaced very soon. Thank you for your feedback and I hope this will help to improve the comfort of this apartment.
Best regards.
Anne

Dear Everton,
Thank you for your stay through New York Habitat.
We are very sorry that the stairs were narrow. This is a typical Parisian spiraling stair case as showed on our pictures.
Thank you again.
Best.

A light, comfortable, lovely apartment, with helpful, kind owners. It's well-situated for easy access to multiple metro lines, and the neighborhood is lively, with many options for eating out, or take out. The Eiffel Tower is visible from the bedroom window if one leans out just a bit. On Wednesday & Saturday, the market on the boulevard makes for enticing browsing / shopping. It was a pleasure to have such a pleasant place to stay.

This was our second time in the apartment, and it was wonderful. Anne and Gilbert are wonderful people. We had some trouble with the outer door handle and Gilbert came right out to fix it. The apartment is in a great location. We will be back!

This vacation rental is well located, in a spotless building, and well maintained and equipped. The landlady is very kind and generous. As for what could be improved: the apartment is small, so there is too much furniture.

If the space was a bit cleared, you could move the dining table against a wall, which would make the sitting room more convenient.

Thank you for your positive review, which made me happy.

We do our best to accommodate your needs but this apartment - small indeed - is often our dwelling as well and I wouldn't like to get rid of the furniture, which brings back happy memories.

Kind regards,

Anne

We spent a wonderful 10 days in this apartment. It is a short walk to the #4 metro line (and others) at Montparnasse and the #6 line is even closer at the Edgar Quinet stop.

The owners were wonderful and got the internet working for us.

There is a boulangerie on Rue d'Odessa but we thought another one, on Rue Delambre, near Blvd. Monparnasse, was better. The Monoprix supermarket is 2 blocks away. There are some terrific restaurants within walking distance.

On Wed. and Sat. there is a market downstairs on Blvd. Edgar Quinet, and an art market on Sunday. There is a great fromager (cheese store) on Rue Delambre across the street from the boulangerie. The Jardin du Luxembourg is a short 10 minute walk away, down Rue Vavin.

Note that there is a washer but no dryer, but we had no trouble drying stuff on the drying rack in the bathroom.

Very good location. Very bright. Kitchen is well equipped. Although it says there is no elevator, it is on the third floor with 98 steps up a very dangerous and steep staircase.

The furniture is outdated and isn't functional. The armchair in the living room isn't comfortable. The telephone and the TV only worked for days. No Internet. The dishwasher didn't work. It is full of the owners' belongings that have to be moved as there is no space to put our own.

The owners are nice and very concerned with so many personal things they have there. The cover on the bed had cat hair.

There are 48 steps (not 98). There are engravings on the staircase walls, a nice carpet and a comfortable handrail. It is steep but not "very dangerous".

The "outdated and unfunctional" furniture is antique, some pieces are 18th Century. I value them a lot, they play an important part of the apartment charm, often much appreciated.

In the sitting room, there are two couches and antique seats. There is no computer but a wifi access in the apartment. Several clients have used it. It is true there have been failures from the provider "Orange" (France Telecom) that stopped us from being able to use the phone and the TV. I dealt with it as fast as possible.

The dishwasher was changed a month ago, it is new. Nobody told me it didn't work properly.

I am sorry if there was any cat hair left. I will be even more careful so it doesn't happen again.

Besides, whenever guests had any issue with the apartment, they told me directly and I could deal with it straight away. I have really nice and cordial relationships with all the guests who come to my place.

After having stayed in hotels for the last fifteen years during our annual Christmas holiday in Paris, we decided to rent an apartment. Following our wonderful experience, hotels are to be forgotten.

The location, for those who tend to migrate to Montparnasse, was excellent, and the apartment was all you could ask for: clean, furnished with taste. In addition, the owner was extremely gracious and hospitable.

The location was good with a metro stop right out front (6 line) and a more useful metro line (4) within easy walking distance. There was a market right out in front of the building on Wednesday and Saturday-- not the greatest market in town, but useful to pick up some fresh produce.

I am completely satisfied about my stay in the apartment in Paris, it was very nice and clean, the owners very kind. The street is quiet but near shops, restaurants and Montparnasse Station.

Next year I would like to stay in NYC [...] for two weeks. I'll surely write to you to find an apartment.

The apartment that we rented in Paris was all we could have hoped it would be. The description of the apartment was accurate, and the photographs were a true representation of what the apartment was like.

The owner was a wonderful and considerate woman. She explained fully how everything worked and made us feel welcome.

We visit Paris twice a year and will use your services from now on.
