Quiet studio in the Marais
|
Attractive studio in the Marais between Rue des Francs Bourgeois and Rue de Turenne.
A very lilvely and historical area, the Marais has a particular atmosphere also due to its pre-Revolution architecture, enclosing a substantial number of points of interest such as museums, art galleries, design shops, as well as diverse types of trendy bars and restaurants. Also in this area is the royal Place des Vosges famous and hailed for the harmony of its architecture, where, at number 6 lived the world famous French novelist Victor Hugo. This apartment is located right in the heart of the Marais surrounded by all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
This 40m2 studio with mezzanine is located on the third floor of a pre-war building facing northwest and has a security code system and an elevator. There is wall to wall carpet everywhere except in the bathroom, which has linoleum floor, and the kitchen, which has red brick tiles. The ceiling is framed with wooden beams.
The layout is as follows: main entry leads directly to the living room. On the left hand side is the open kitchen. On the right hand side is the bathroom. On the left hand side of the living area is the open and raised bedroom reachable by stairs.
The 20-m2 living room has a large skylight facing a courtyard. It is furnished with a (120 cm wide) double sofa bed, a small coffee table, a dining table, two lamps, a telephone, a built in wall closet closed by a red velvet curtain, a chest of drawers and other decorative items.
The 10-m2-mezzanine bedroom is decorated with a (140 cm wide) double bed, a lamp, a cableTV with combined VCR and a compact stereo system.
The open and separate kitchen is equipped with a small electric oven, a small fridge, a microwave, two electric hotplates, a coffee maker, a kettle, a washing machine and ceramic sink.
The bathroom has a bathtub with manual showerhead, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and a toilet.
Wireless internet access is available.
The closest metro stations are Saint Paul (line 1) and St Sebastien Froissart (line 8)
