Neighborhood: This apartment is located in the Les Halles/Montorgueil area. It is close to the pedestrian street Montorgueil, with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, as well as other services. It is also very close to the Beaubourg modern art museum, the rue des Lombards Jazz clubs and of course the large underground mall of les Halles. In addition, it is within short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine River, the Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cité, the unique Ile Saint Louis, and the majestic Louvre Museum. From its adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the historic most known parks in Paris, there is an incredible view - the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe. It is a central area, very convenient to travel all around Paris. Premises: This 34m² one bedroom apartment is located on the first floor (second in the USA) of a 16th century walk-up building. A coded security system and a concierge protect the street's main entrance gate, which opens onto a paved courtyard. From there, a staircase goes up to the apartment's floor. The apartment has a southern exposure. Layout: The entrance door opens directly into the living room. On the left of this door is another that opens into the kitchen, and on the right a door gives an access to a hallway. This hallway leads to the bathroom and to the bedroom. The 17m² living room has two windows that face the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a dining table with chairs, a console a small TV, DVD player, and built-in shelves. There is also a decorative fireplace and decorative ceiling beams. The 11m² bedroom has a window, which also overlooks the interior courtyard. It is furnished with a double bed, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, and two large built-in closets with shelves and wardrobes. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with two electric burners, a small fridge and a microwave. The bathroom has a tub, a sink and a toilette. The nearest metro station is Etienne Marcel (line 4). Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
