This 110m² (approx. 1185 sq.ft) five-bedroom apartment, newly refurbished is situated in the exclusive 6th district between Rue Sèvres and Rue du Cherche Midi. A few steps away from the historical district of Saint Germain des Pres with its elegant, trendy streets known for the many stylish fashion shops, antiques' shops, art galleries, sophisticated and traditional restaurants, pubs and cinemas. After World War II, St. Germain des Pres became synonymous with intellectual life centered around bars and cafes. Within a short walking distance are the Seine River and the Luxembourg gardens are in a few minutes. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood like the open-air markets. The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a well-maintained 20th century elevator building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a porsche then a courtyard. A second door with a coded system leads to the apartment. The entry door opens onto the living room and the open kitchen.On the left-hand side is the bathroom, on the right-hand side are the five bedrooms and the second bathroom. The 25m² (approx. 270sq.ft.) living room has a parquet floor and two windows overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a dining table with a wooden bench and 2 stools; a sofa and a desk with a computer. The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an electric oven, 3 gas burners and an electric plate topped by an exhaust fan, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle and a toaster. The first four bedrooms have a parquet floor and a window with a view on the street and a north western exposure. The corridor leading to the bedrooms has a piano. The 16m² (approx. 170 sq.ft.) first bedroom is furnished with a single size bed, a wooden desk, a built-in closet and toys. The 13m² (approx. 140 sq.ft.) second bedroom has a single size bed and toys. A door connects to the 1st bedroom. The 13m² (approx. 140 sq.ft.) 3rd bedroom is furnished with a sofa, a double size mattress, a wooden desk and a fireplace. It is also equipped with a TV, a VCR and a DVD player. The 16m² (approx. 170 sq.ft.) 4th bedroom has a double-size bed, a chest of drawers, bookshelves, an armchair and a small TV. The 13m² (approx. 140 sq.ft.) 5th bedroom is a baby's room with everything for baby care of which a baby's bed and a changing table. The first tiled bathroom has a window, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror, a tub with a wall-mounted showerhead, a toilet and a heated towel rack. The second tiled bathroom has a window, a shower and a washbasin. The separate toilet has a window and a small washbasin. A washing machine is available in a laundry room. Heating and water heater are individual with gas. Internet access is available. The nearest metro stations are Sèvres-Babylone (lines 10, 12) and St Placide (line 4).
