Neighboorhood: Located between Rue Oberkampf and Rue du Chemin Vert, this furnished apartment in duplex is just a few steps away from the Marais with the Musée Picasso, Place des Vosges and Place de la Bastille. A lively but quiet area of Paris, this accommodation is in short walking distance from the Bastille or the Oberkampf area and its trendy cafés, restaurants and bars. Premises: This 85m² (approx. 910 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a walk-up building. The main entrance gate opens into a hall next to a courtyard, a porch and a second courtyard. The apartment entrance opens into a corridor with the kitchen on the right and then the living room. The 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and five double-glazed windows that overlook the entrance courtyard. It is furnished with a dining table with six chairs, a sofa, a coffee table, a desk and a library. It is also equipped with a TV and a stereo. The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) first bedroom has a parquet floor and a window with curtains that has a view of the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a bedside table and a built-in closet. There are two doors accessing this room and a sliding door divides the bedroom from the bathroom. This last door extends to the living room. The 17m² (approx. 180 sq. ft.) second bedroom is on the second floor. It is accessible through a steep ladder. It has a parquet floor and a window with blinds. It is furnished with a double-size bed and a mattress (a second is available) as well as a desk with a chair. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four electric plates topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster. The tiled bathroom is accessible from the first bedroom and the corridor connects to the living room. It is fitted with a washbasin, a bathtub and a towel warmer. The separate toilet has a washbasin and is in the corridor where there is a walk-in closet with a washing machine and a dryer. Internet access is available. Heat and hot water are individual with gas. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is St Sébastien-Froissart (line 8).
