Neighborhood: Located on Rue Faidherbe between Rue de Charonne and Rue de Montreuil, this furnished three-bedroom loft is a few minutes away from the well-known Place de la Bastille. It houses the Opera de Paris, considered one of the best in the world and inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. Within short walking distance is the royal Place des Vosges, the oldest and most beautiful square and the former place of residence of many historic personalities. Built by Henri IV, its perfect symmetry and verticality are fine examples of classical French architecture. This area is also known for its museums, arts galleries and antique shops. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation. Premises: This 200m² (approx. 2,150 sq. ft.) apartment is situated on the ground floor of a 20th century building; the entrance door opens directly into the apartment. The 75m² (approx. 805 sq. ft.) living area has large skylights and a bay window opening onto the terrace. It is furnished with three sofas, a coffee table, a dining table, a cable TV, a VCR, a DVD player, a stereo, and a phone. A staircase leads to the 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) terrace, which has a dining table, some chairs, a barbecue and some plants. A second staircase leads to a mezzanine, which has a small office area and the third 6m² (approx. 60 sq. ft.) bedroom furnished with a single-size bed, a bedside table and a bookshelf. A third staircase leads to the open kitchen area and dining area. It is equipped with a refrigerator, a freezer, three gas burners and an electric plate topped by a cooker hood, an electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine with a dryer. The dining area has a dining table and chairs. The first 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) bedroom in the basement has a skylight. It is furnished with a double-size bed, bedside tables, and a built-in wall closet. This bedroom has an open bathroom, which has a washbasin with a mirror, a bathtub, a toilet and a bidet. The second 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) bedroom in the basement is accessed from a staircase in the entrance area. It has no window. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a bedside table and a built-in closet. There is also an office on the ground floor. It has a window overlooking the street and is furnished with a desk and chair and some bookshelves. A shower room on the ground floor has a large shower cabin and a washbasin with a mirror. A separate toilet is in the hallway. Heat and hot water are electric. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Charonne (line 9) and Faidherbe-Chaligny (line 8).
