Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment is situated in the lively pedestrian Montorgueil area of Paris, between rue Etienne Marcel and rue Saint Sauveur. The Quartier Montorgueil is an authentic, traditional Parisian village of residential and commercial streets; it is mostly pedestrian, as retractable boundary marks allow almost only the residents to go in with their autos. The area around this accommodation is paved with small stones and contains some remarkable restaurants and a number of pleasant cafes. It is within walking distance of a number of points of interest around the city.
Premises:
This cozy 18m² (approx. 190 sq. ft.) studio is on the fourth floor of a walk-up building dating from the 17th century. It is equipped with a security system, is north exposed and faces the street. It has genuine exposed beams on the ceiling, some stone walls, some white walls, and a nice parquet floor.
The 15.5m² (approx. 165 sq. ft.) living room has two Napoleon III unit chairs, a square straw pouf, an antique drop-leaf dining table, a TV and DVD (multi-standard) on a console, and a built-in closet. It also has a comfortable 140cm wide Murphy bed, built-in corner shelves, a built-in cupboard containing kitchen utensils, lamps, and a double-glazed window garnished with curtains overlooking the pedestrian street.
The open kitchen space placed close to the main door is equipped with two electric burners, a microwave oven, and a small refrigerator in a cupboard under the stainless steel sink, an electric kettle and coffee maker, and a toaster.
To the right of the entrance, the white tiled bathroom has exposed beams on the ceiling. It contains a bathtub with a wall-mounted showerhead, a white ceramic washbasin, a mirror with spotlights above it, and a toilet.
Internet, phone and cable TV are available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the closest metro stations are Les Halles (lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14 and RER A and B), and Sentier (line 3).
