One bedroom apartment in the Marais
Residential street situated in the Haut-Marais district, between rue de Turbigo and rue du Vertbois.

In the Marais district, there are plenty of live shopping streets. The neighboring rue de Bretagne provides number of bakeries, fresh food stalls, cheese mongers, and caterers. As the choice is unlimited, it is advised to visit some of the local restaurants and cafes. Only in a two-minute walking distance to the nearest Metro station -Arts & Métiers - this calm street is 700 meters away from the geographical center of Paris as it was decreed to be the "Hotel de Ville" (Town Hall). Within a 15-minute walk are renowned historical and cultural sites such as Place des Vosges, Musée Picasso, Georges Pompidou Center also known as Beaubourg, the Hotel de Ville, Place de la Bastille, the Seine River, Ile de la Cite, Ile Saint-Louis, and Notre-Dame Cathedral. The Musee du Louvre is in 20-minute walk away.

Loft-style 55 sq meters one-bedroom apartment located on the 5th and top floor of a 19th century building, a former Catholic school, equipped with a security system and elevator, it has 4m high ceiling on one side, and 2.70m on the other side, with original beams, neat wooden floors, and seven windows facing East and West and overlooking the Parisian rooftops.
Extremely light-filled, and cheerful, it was completely renovated a few years ago, combining authentic charm with modern amenities. It can accommodate up to four people.

Quite wide the 35m2 living room is fitted out with 18th century and modern styles' furniture. There are a 1.40cm wide double red leather sofa-bed and two black leather club chairs facing a rectangular coffee table, a chest, a cabinet with a nice mirror above, a rectangular dining table and two similar chairs (five extra folding chairs are available), a large-screen TV, Home Cinema with DVD player and Hi-Fi system, CD-player and Video Player, a telephone and answering machine, decorative painting, and lamps. High-speed Internet connection (ADSL) is available. Five windows facing the street bring in daylight.

In the 12m2 bedroom there is a 1.60cm wide double bed with one bedside table and lamp, a mirror sliding doors built in closet, a telephone and answering machine, and a window opening to the courtyard and roofs.

Split out from the living room by a counter, the well-equipped open kitchen is provided with four induction burners, a traditional electric oven, a multifunction oven, a combo fridge and freezer, an electric coffee maker, and a toaster. There are many cupboards below and above the L-shaped worktop on which the white ceramic sink is set up just under the window. Dishes, glassware, and cooking equipment are available.

Enclosing a fine mirror above the design stainless steel washbasin, a bathtub/shower with small glass partition, heated towel rack, and toilet, the bathroom is all white painted and tiled, and has a window looking into the bedroom.

The closest metro stations are Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11) and Temple (line 3).

The apartment was clean, convenient and ideally located in the Marais. Close to the metro stop on a quiet street, it afforded easy access to the whole city by mass transit, and a fabulous district on foot. The [vacation rental] owner was more than accommodating. Friendly and concerned, he was a joy to deal with, both by email before our trip and when we arrived. We plan on using your service again in the future. We also plan on staying at this vacation rental should we ever revisit Paris for more than a couple of days.

A lovely [Paris] apartment for two, ideally located on a peaceful street but sufficiently central to allow easy access to two Metro stops and from them to the rest of the city. Easy walking too from the vacation rental to the delightful Marais and beyond. NYHabitat's [Agent] was great in setting up contact with the owner - who was equally helpful in helping us navigate from CDG, and met us at his premises to take us through domestics. So I'm a highly satisfied customer, and would have no hesitation in using NYHabitat again.
