One bedroom apartment in Saint Germain des Pres

Situated in the Saint Germain de Près district, between rue de l'Université and Boulevard Saint Germain.
One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, the very demanded Saint Germain des Près district is the Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops. Here also are number of selected restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literate back in the day. Just beside the new Marché Saint Germain (Fashion Market), a few steps away rue de Buci features a special atmosphere and open-air market.
Located on the 4th floor of an 18th century building equipped with a security system, an elevator, and having a full time caretaker, this cosy 50m2 apartment looking out over a peaceful courtyard is northwest exposed, has 3m high ceilings, white painted walls, and a nice herringbone patterned floor.
From the main door, four successive windows garnished with curtains enlighten the lined up rooms. In the hall there are an antique Chinese desk and armchair, a square dining table with two pleasant straw chairs (two extra folding chairs are available), posters, a lamp, and an area carpet.
Agreeably furnished the 16m2 living room comprises a comfortable sofa, a convertible single seat, a glass top rectangular coffee table standing on an area carpet, a Chinese cabinet, a cable TV with international channel set down on a console, a stereo, a beautiful golden-framed wall mirror above the marble decorative fireplace, and two windows.
Next, the 12m2 bedroom is fitted out with a 160cm wide double bed with bedside nightstands and lamps, a recessed closet, the same wall mirror above the marble decorative fireplace, and a window.
Placed to the left side of the hall the kitchen is all white decorated with yellow freezes. It is equipped with four electric burners and double stainless steel sinks set on the gray worktop, a traditional electric oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, electric kettle and coffee maker, cupboards and shelves containing the utensils.
Across the bedroom, to the left side, the white tiled bathroom encloses a tiled shower cabin screened by a glass door, a white oval washbasin with a large mirror above and cabinets below, a recessed closet, and a combo washing-drying machine
In the small lavatory adjacent to the living room there is a recessed closet and recessed cupboard, a large mirror above and cabinet below the washbasin, as well as a separate toilet.
The closest metro station is rue du Bac (line 12).
