Spacious one bedroom apartment in the Marais
|
Excellent situation in the very demanded Marais area situated between rue Beaubourg and rue du Temple.
Very demanded area, the Marais encloses the well-known pedestrian rue des Gravilliers, showing nice cheese mongers, fishmongers, greengrocers, and gorgeous restaurants and cafes. This is one of the neighborhoods of Paris still having preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. In the vicinity of this street are the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, the wide Les Halles Mall, and, a little farther is the royal Place des Vosges, a must to be visited, place of residence of many historic personalities where are number of precious museums. Most of the important points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, the City Hall, and the Seine River with its enchanting islands are in a fair walking distance.
Gorgeous 90m2 design one bedroom apartment located on the 5th floor of an 18th century walk up building provided with a security system and an intercom. It is accessible by climbing 5 flights of stairs and south exposed and overlooking a calm courtyard. It has white walls, genuine beams, and nice parquet floor.
First the hall corridor leads to the living room. To the left side are the bedroom, bathroom, and mezzanine-office, and to the right side is the pleasant American kitchen.
Brightened up by four windows and three skylights the L-shaped 55m2 tasteful living room is fitted out with a sofa, an armchair, and a club chair facing a design top glass coffee table, a decorative fireplace, recessed glass shelves, a cable TV with international channels, a VCR and DVD players, a stereo, and a telephone. Intimate, to the left side there is a nice wooden dining table and four matching chairs, delicate ceiling lamps, and a built in closet.
Above the dining area there is an office space installed on a mezzanine. There is a glass-topped desk, an available computer with cable Internet connection, bookshelves, and a skylight.
Featuring a white countertop and two chairs the American kitchen is placed to the right side of the living room. It is equipped with two vitro ceramic burners, a traditional electric oven, a microwave oven, a hood with exhaust fan, a fridge, freezer, a dishwasher, a round white sink, an electric coffee maker, and a toaster, as well as the necessary utensils stowed in the many cupboards.
Next to the kitchen, the 11m2 bedroom is decorated with number of singular masks, and has a built in closet and a window. Here, a white wooden ladder climbs to the mezzanine placed below a skylight, on which a 140cm wide double mattress is set down on large wooden storage cases. Besides, there is a bedside lamp, a stereo and a wall painting.
Across the bedroom the royal blue painted and white tiled pleasing bathroom encloses a shower cabin protected by glass screens, a stainless steel washbasin fit on a glass top ahead a large mirror, and toilet.
There is a cat in the apartment that will not stay during the rental.
The closest metro stations are Arts et Métiers (lines 3, 11), Rambuteau (line 11), and Reaumur Sebastopol (lines 3, 4).
