Jul 21 2009I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Paris in large part due to the apartment on Rue Mouffetard. The owner was attentive, reliable and helpful. The apartment was small, but well equipped and above all, QUIET.

Dec 06 2007We were very pleased with our little Paris apartment [in Quartier Latin]! It was exactly as it was portrayed on the website and while tiny, we were in Paris on vacation so it's not like we were going to spend a whole lot of time there! Best of all, we quickly grew to love the rhythm and vitality of the daily market on the rue Mouffetard, right outside the front door of our building; what could be better than a warm viennoise chocolat for breakfast, fresh from the paneton two doors down the rue!

I rented vacation rental number PA-2486 on Rue Mouffetard in Paris from February 21-27.
Mar 09 2006The apartment lived up to the pictures on the website -- there was really no difference, which was fantastic. The landlord was prompt, courteous and friendly. We loved staying in the apartment. The neighborhood was great and it was just so much nicer than staying in a hotel.
Overall, my experience using NYHabitat for my vacation rental was extremely positive. I will definitely look to them again for my next vacation. Thanks!!
I almost loathe to tell you about the apartment lest it become too popular and I have difficulty in future renting it again. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. The location of the apt. was excellent. There was a small matter of a newborn baby next door, but that I suppose could happen anywhere. And a small unexpected fee for cleaning - my understanding of the contract was that as long as the place was left 'broom clean', there was no further charge. Perhaps it's down to the age-old language barrier.

Jun 24 2005The location is excellent - Rue Mouffetard is full of wonderful shops and restaurants and although it is a bit touristy the atmosphere is fantastic. It is also very convenient - there is a supermarket only 1 minute from the apartment and there is a laundromat only 2 minutes away.
The nearby subway station takes you directly to the Louvre (about a 20 minute subway ride). The Latin Quarter is a great place to stay and we loved wandering about the neighbourhood.
The owner of the apartment does not speak much English but she was very kind to us and I enjoyed meeting her. The apartment is small but it is very clean and bright and was perfect for the two of us.
It is very quiet at night and the other neighbours were very friendly to us. It was also very secure which was important for me (my daughter is only 6 years old and I was worried about her safety). It was just what we were looking for!
During our next trip to Paris we will definitely stay in another apartment. They are so much better (and cheaper) than staying at a hotel.

Clean, quiet, perfect for one or two persons. Great neighborhood. Only a few blocks to the Metro. Good heat. Limited hot water but o.k. if conservative. [The accommodation owner] provided a book that was very helpful.
Feb 11 2005We had a wonderful time in Paris, the location of the apartment was fantastic for those who want to have a true Parisian experience yet still be close to the top spots. We were able to walk to the open air markets and there was so many quaint restaurants and bars to choose from.
