One bedroom apartment in the Latin Quarter

In the heart of the Quartier Latin, situated between rue des Ecoles and rue Descartes. A few steps from the Seine River and Notre Dame Cathedral, this street is placed in one of the most youthful areas of Paris, the Quartier Latin, showing numerous monuments and other points of interest, three renowned traditional open air markets - Maubert, Mouffetard, and Monge -, as well as a large choice of traditional and international restaurants, diverse pleasing cafes, and all kinds of conveniences. This very calm and east exposed 45m2 one-bedroom apartment is located on the 1st floor of a building dating back to the 17th century, equipped with a security system. Looking out onto the courtyard, the windows are garnished with white curtains. Atypical in its layout this pleasant apartment has white walls, genuine beams on the 3.27m high ceiling (watch bathroom ceiling height below), a red brick hexagonal tiled floor in the hall and bedroom, and a wall-to-wall carpet in the living room. There is a small hall opening to the facing open bedroom and to the recessed open kitchen, and across both are the two accesses to the living room. Semi circular stairs climb to the open mezzanine where there is a 140cm wide double mattress, a short closet, and a chest of drawers. In the 15m2 bedroom there is a 140cm wide double sofa bed, recessed closet and bookshelves, a desk, a chest, area carpets, and also a window. The easy open kitchen is equipped with a combo four vitro ceramic burners and traditional electric oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a combo fridge-freezer, electric kettle and coffee maker, a toaster, a brown ceramic sink, almond green worktop and cupboards, and a combo washing-drying machine. Tableware and other kitchen utensils are available. Light brown tiled the bathroom has 1.90m high ceiling. It encloses a bathtub with handheld showerhead screened by a synthetic curtain, a mirror above and a cabinet below the white washbasin, a cabinet, and toilet. The apartment has internet access for those who would like to bring their laptops. The closest metro stations are Maubert Mutualité (line 10), Cardinal Lemoine (line 10), and Luxembourg (RER B).
