Studio apartment in Quartier Latin area

This furnished studio apartment is located in a private passage perpendicular to Rue Du Fer à Moulin, between Avenue des Gobelins and Rue Scipion in Paris.
The passage, as it is known in French, is lined with greenery and paved with cobblestones dating back to the 17th century that were probably cut by prisoners. Some of its buildings date back to the late 1600's, and two wooden edifices at its end were formerly used to air-dry leather for saddle making (the passage being close to the ancient horse-market on Boulevard St. Marcel). The now covered-over Bievres River having flown just behind this accommodation, this is also where tapestries were washed for the famous manufacturer "Les Gobelins," only a short walk away.
With the charming Place St. Medard and the famous Mouffetard market just around the corner from this accommodation, this location promises a wonderful stay in the center of Paris. All amenities, as well as shops and markets, are within walking distance or accessible by bus and metro. After their stay in the Latin Quarter, most visitors end up leaving Paris feeling like they were residents of the city rather than simply tourists.
Premises:
This 18m² (approx. 194 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the first floor of an 1870 building. The entrance gate with a coded security system opens into a paved alley leading to the building entrance.
The entrance door opens directly into the kitchen, which leads to the main room. The separate bathroom is accessible through the kitchen.
The 12m² (approx. 129 sq. ft.) living room has a window with Eastern exposure overlooking the paved alley. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a mirrored closet, a small dining table mounted on the wall, and an armchair.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with two electric plates, a refrigerator, a sink, a microwave, a coffee-maker, a kettle and a toaster.
The separate bathroom has a shower topped with a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris, the closest metro stations are Censier Daubenton (Line 7) and Saint Marcel (Line 5).
