One bedroom apartment in the Latin Quarter
|
Situated on one a quay of the fifth arrondissement, that has one of the most exquisite view on the river the Seine and the Notre Dame
cathedral. A few steps away from famous rue de Bièvre, where President Mittérand use to live, very close to the small pedestrians streets of the Quartier Latin. In addition to the number of restaurants, nice pubs, and cafes, downhill is the well-known Maubert open-air market and, a little farther, the Mouffetard open-air market, with all their fresh French bread and pastries, choice fruits, vegetables, cheese, and seafood. All around there are many other fine stores, other selected restaurants, and supermarkets.
This one bedroom apartment is located at the first floor of a five floors eighteen century building. There is a digicode, an intercom as well and an elevator. The layout is as follows. The apartment is in an "L" shape, the windows' view is on a nice courtyard with plants. The entrance door opens on the dining-room, kitchen, that itself leads to the living-room area (mezzanine bed). Access to the bathroom through the living-room. The walls are white and there are wooden floors.
The dining-room has two large windows with white curtains. There is a metal table with four metal chairs, a rug and a coat-stand. The open kitchen has a glass bar with two metal high stools. There is an electric oven, a refrigerator, a coffee-maker, two gas burners and a washer-dryer.
The living-room has a window with red curtains. There is a decorative fireplace surmounted by a mirror, two red leather sofas with a black wooden coffee-table between them. On both sides of the fireplace, there are glass bookshelves, with decorative items and lamps and a television with cable on the floor. There is a chest of drawers with a lamp upon it and a standard lamp.
On the side of the stairs that leads to the mezzanine there is a pink garland. There is a wardrobe. The bed in in the mezzanine is a full size one. The bathroom has a little window, a shower, a toilet and a washbasin surmounted with a mirror.
The nearest subway stations are Maubert-Mutualité (Line 10) and Saint
Michel (Line 4, 10 RER C).
