A one-bedroom apartment close to the Montparnasse Tower
|
Neighborhood:
The Montparnasse live and trendy district is also famous for its highest local skyscraper showing a singular view over Paris, and for its large number of theaters, cinemas, international and selected restaurants, and nice cafes. Montparnasse has once been the favorite neighborhood for lots of artist. They use to be called the "Montparnos", this familiar name gathered all the artists who, between the two wars, made the notoriety of Montparnasse. The World Fair of 1889 and the artistic life already so rich of Montmartre had attracted many artists who will then choose this popular district for it's central location in Paris and which will become the highest place of modernity.
Premises:
This 35m² one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (third for USA) of a walk-up building. The apartment has a northeast exposure and a parquet floor.
The layout:
The entrance door opens directly onto the living room and its open kitchen. From the entrance, on the right a door opens on the bathroom and on the left another door gives an access to the separated toilette. The bedroom is accessible thru the living room.
The 12-m² living room has one window, which overlooks the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a little dining table with its chairs and some low tables. This room has a fireplace, a stereo and some antique style decorative items.
The open kitchen is equipped with a combo stove / oven / dishwasher, a microwave oven, a coffee maker and a toaster. There is also some cabinets above the sink, and a built-in closet.
The 11m² bedroom has one window overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a queen size bed, two bedside tables and a large built-in closet. There is also a console with upon it the TV and a DVD player and two armchairs.
Internet and the cable are also available.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin, a washbasin and a laundry machine (combo washer / dryer).
Toilet is separate.
The closest metro station is Gaïté (line 13).
Smokers and Pets are not permitted.
Electric heat and hot water are individually metered.
