Neighborhood:
This apartment is close to the pedestrian Montorgueil street, with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, as well as other services. It is also very close to the Beaubourg modern art museum, the rue des Lombards Jazz clubs and of course the large underground mall of les Halles. It is also in a short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine River, to the Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cité, to the unique Ile Saint Louis, and to the majestic Louvre Museum. From its adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the historic most known parks in Paris there is a fine perspective - the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe in one direction. It is a central area, very convenient to travel all around Paris.
Premises:
This 40m² one bedroom apartment is located on the first floor (second for USA) of a 19th century building having an elevator. The main entrance gate is protected by a code security system. The apartment faces a pedestrian street and is located in a perpendicular street of the famous Montorgeuil Street.
Layout:
From the hallway, straight ahead, there is the kitchen, on the left the living room and finally on the right the bathroom. The bedroom is accessible thru the living room.
The 15m² living room is decorated with an eclectic taste. The double-glazed window faces the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a table with two chairs and some built-in shelves. There is also a stereo and a decorative fireplace.
The 15m² bedroom has one double-glazed window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size bed, a closet, a chest of drawers with upon it a cable TV with a combo VCR/ DVD player and a table.
The separated kitchen is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a small electric oven, a microwave oven, a toaster and a coffee maker. There is also a laundry machine (combo washer / dryer).
The white tiled bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead, a small washbasin and a toilet.
This apartment has an Internet connection via ADSL and Wifi.
The nearest metro stations are Sentier (line 3), Réaumur Sébastopol (lines 3, 4)
Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
Smoking and pets are not permitted.
