A studio apartment in the heart of a lively neighborhood
|
Neighborhood:
Among the numerous points of interest this area shows the celebrated Louvre, one of the first European museums which construction started in 1546. Medieval fortress, and palace, residence of many kings of France, in 1793 it was established as museum by the French Republic, enclosing more than 6000 European paintings dating from the 13th century to the19th century. In a fair distance are the Opera Garnier, Place Vendôme and its world-famous jewellers, the Champs Elysées, and the very sophisticated Montaigne Avenue. All around this district there are selected restaurants, number of nice cafes, cinemas, supermarkets and other convenience shops.
Premises:
This 40 m studio apartment is located on the first floor (second floor for USA) of a 16th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a code system. This gate opens onto a corridor, which leads to another door protected by an intercom.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto a hall, which leads to the bathroom (on the keft), and straight ahead to the living room and its open kitchen. The bedroom is not really separated from the living room; two walls surround this room.
The 22m² living room has two double-glazed widows overlooking the street and a parquet floor. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a coffee table, a sideboard, a small dining table with chairs. There is also a flat screen cable TV, a DVD player and a computer connected to internet.
The 6m² bedroom area is furnished with a double size bed and a built-in wardrobe.
The contemporary open-kitchen is equipped with four vitro-ceramic burners, an oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a laundry machine, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin and, in a recess, a toilet.
The nearest metro station is Châtelet - Les Halles (lines 1,4,7,11,14 - RER A,B,D)
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
