An atelier in Pigalle

Area: The apartment is located in the 18th arrondisement, which is famous for its bars, nightclubs and cafes. Sited in a small street just off the very lively Boulevard de Clichy, Rue Coustou is quiet and residential. The 18th arrondisement is trendy. There are all sorts of small food shops and supermarkets in the neighborhood. It is only a short walk to the notable Sacre Coeur church with its unique view of Paris.
Premises:
This 80-m2 atelier is a duplex with 2.00m ceilings (except in the kitchen: 5.00m) located in a courtyard of a building, built in the 19th century. It is protected by a digicode. The apartment has an open view and comes with eclectic furniture and many decorative artworks such as paintings and sculptures. The windows in this apartment are of translucent glass.
Layout:
The entrance door of the atelier opens to the living area (35m2), which is divided into a living room (20m2) and an open kitchen (15m2) with dining area. The living room has yellow painted walls and a wooden floor. It has five windows, each a different size and they face the courtyard. It is furnished with a sofa, two chairs, a wooden table, a cupboard and a sideboard. There is a TV with DVD and VCR and a stereo system.
The open kitchen (15m2) is fully equipped and comes with a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher and refrigerator with freezer, a kitchen fan, a brass sink and a toaster. It is furnished with a cupboard, shelves and a wooden table with five chairs and a bench. One wall is painted red and another is painted beige. The floor is partly wood and partly tile. A wall of opaque glass separates the kitchen with its 5m walls and the bathroom on the first floor.
There are two staircases in different parts of the atelier leading to the two bedrooms. An iron staircase leads from the living area to one bedroom (16m2) on an upper level above the living room with a skylight and with a wall made of different sized windows. This bedroom is furnished with a double futon, two writing desks with a desk chair and a fax with telephone. The walls are painted red.
The second staircase is at the end of the kitchen and leads to the opposite side of the apartment. The second bedroom and the bathroom are in this part of the atelier. The second bedroom (16m2) is furnished with a double futon, a closet and shelves. It has opaque glass on two sides of the room and a small window. The walls are painted light blue and beige and partly brick stone.
The bathroom (11m2) has a shower, a washbasin and a toilet. There are opaque glass walls on two sides of the room, facing the kitchen and the staircase.
A storeroom (12m2) is sited behind the kitchen and features a wardrobe and washbasin.
The closest metro is Blanche (line 2).
Heat and hot-water are individually metered
