One-bedroom apartment close to the famous Place des Vosges

Neighborhood:
Oldest square of Paris, the Royal Place des Vosges' was originally named the Place Royale, which construction between 1605 and 1612 was decided by Henry IV, the king. At the floor level number of harmonious arcades surround the square, all made in red brick and stone facings. The center south and north gateways were respectively the kings and queens pavilions. Here lived many historical personalities such as the world famous novelist, Victor Hugo, at number 6 - now a museum - Maison de Victor Hugo.
Many museums, art galleries, selected restaurants, and pleasant cafes are easily found in this area. In a 10 minutes walking distance, is the Bastille Place, symbol of the French Republic, and in a short distance by metro, all other important points of interest.
Premises:
This 52mē one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a code security system. This gate leads to a paved courtyard; which gives an access to the old but well-maintained staircase.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto a hallway that leads straight ahead to the living room and to the kitchen; to the right to the kitchen and to the bathroom.
The 23mē living room has two windows overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a glass dining table with its chairs, a sofa, a coffee table, a built-in closet and a console with a TV upon it and a DVD player. There is also in a recess a double size bed.
High speed internet access is available.
The 12mē bedroom has two windows opening onto a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, two bedside tables, wardrobes and shelves hidden by curtains and a small built-in closet.
The separate kitchen has a window and is furnished with a bistro table with its two chairs. It is equipped with four gas burners, a dishwasher, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave oven, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The tiled bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin, a laundry machine and a dryer, and a toilet.
The nearest metro station is Saint Paul (line 1).
Heat and hot water use gas and are individually metered.
