Neighborhood:
This two-bedroom apartment is located in the 13th Arrondisement, on Boulevard Port Royal, between rue de la Sante and rue de la Glacier. The border of the 5th Arrondisement is on the other side of the street, and Montparnasse with its cafes and cinemas is in walking distance. The commercial Place d'Italie is also close by.
This apartment has a view on the Panthéon and the Val de Grace.
Premises:
The 90m2 900 sq.ft.) apartment with 2.70m (8ft.) ceilings is on the 4th floor (5th floor in the USA) of a Hausmann style building built in the 19th century. It has an elevator and is protected by a coded security system, a concierge and an intercom system.
The rooms have hardwood floors, and a mix of antique and modern furniture.
Layout:
The entrance door opens onto a long entrance hallway (9m2), which leads to almost all parts of the apartment.
The living room (25m2) is furnished with a sofa, a coffee table, an armchair, a sofa bed (0.90x1.90), book shelves and comes with a piano. It has a corner with a bay window facing south and east onto a courtyard, and is furnished with a writing table and two chairs. The living room is equipped with a music system.
The master bedroom (15m2) can be entered only through the living room. It has a window facing south onto the courtyard and is furnished with a double bed with two night tables and two closets.
The second bedroom (12m2) has a French window that opens onto a balcony that faces north onto the street. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a closet, two writing desks with a chair and bookshelves and comes with a decorative fireplace.
The dining room (15m2) is located close to the kitchen and has two French windows facing north onto the street and is furnished with a dining table, six chairs, two armchairs, bookshelves and a cupboard and is equipped with a TV with DVD and VCR. It has a decorative fireplace.
The kitchen (7m2) is fully equipped and has a window facing south into the courtyard. It comes with a gas stove, an oven, a microwave, refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a water boiler, a toaster and a coffee maker.
The bathroom (7m2) has a bathtub with a shower, a washbasin and storage space.
The toilet (1,5m2) has a window and is separate. It comes with a washbasin.
Heat and hot-water are included.
Smoking and pets are not permitted.
The closest metro station is Les Goebblins (line7) and it is a 5 minutes walk to the RER Station Port Royal, which provides direct access to the two main airports Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
