A modern one-bedroom apartment in the Ile de la Cité

Neighborhood:
This apartment is located in the "Ile de la Cité" and it faces the famous Place Dauphine. It is situated in the center of Paris, an area celebrated for its elegant, trendy streets. There are also endless stylish fashion shops, a mall, antiques stores, art galleries, and an eclectic mix of restaurants and cafes.
This area is also a few minutes away from the renowned Boulevard Saint Germain, the ravishing Luxembourg Garden, the Seine River, and most touristic points of interest. One can also easily find excellent quality services such as fine bakeries, supermarkets, and the well-known daily Buci open-air market.
Premises:
This 45-m˛ one bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of an 18th century building. An intercom and a concierge protect the main entrance gate, which opens onto a corridor leading to a courtyard. From there, a staircase goes up to the first floor where there is an elevator. The apartment has a southern exposure.
Layout:
The entrance door opens directly into the living room. On the right are two doors providing access to the kitchen and to the bedroom. The bathroom is accessible through the bedroom.
The 21m˛ living room has two windows overlooking the famous place Dauphine. It is furnished with a double sofa bed, a dining table and armchairs, a small bench, a built-in closet with a stereo, a table with a laptop (DSL), and a console with a cable TV/VCR/DVD player. This room has also an air conditioner.
The 12m˛ bedroom has two windows with the same view as the living room. It is furnished with a double bed, two bedside tables, two antique style cabinets and a built-in closet.
This room has a double door opening into the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower, a sink and a toilet.
The separate kitchen is small but well arranged and contemporary in style. It is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners, a dishwasher, a combo microwave / grill, a refrigerator/freezer, a kettle and a coffee maker.
Near the entrance door of the apartment is a small closet containing a washing machine/dryer.
The nearest metro station is Pont Neuf (line 7).
Heat is collective and hot water is electric and individually metered.
