Neighborhood: The world famous Place de l'Etoile with the majestic Arc du Triumph, and the beautiful Champs Elysees Avenue are within walking distance from the apartment. Other important points of interests such as the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower are about ten minutes away by metro or by car. In the opposite direction to the west is the La Defense, which is the largest center of commercial activity in Paris and Europe. Surrounding this area is a shopping center with a number of fashion shops, restaurants, cafes, and cinemas, among other services. Premises: This 38m² one-bedroom apartment is located on the 5th floor (6th for the USA) of a 20th century building. The main entrance of the building is protected by a coded security and intercom system. This entrance leads to a hallway, where you will have access to the elevator. Layout: The entrance door of the apartment opens to a hallway. To the left of the hallway, you will find a separate toilet and straight ahead you will find the living room and the separate kitchen. The bedroom and its bathroom are accessible thru the living room. The 14m² living room has one bay window overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a dining table, 2 chairs, a stereo and a telephone. It also has DSL Internet Access, a console with a TV and a DVD player on it, a built-in closet, a coffee table and a chest of drawers. There is the possibility that a desk will be provided. The 8m² bedroom has one bay window that opens onto a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table with an alarm clock, a telephone, a chair and some other decorative stuff. The separate kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a fridge, a washing machine (combo washer/dryer), a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also an iron with an ironing board and a vacuum cleaner. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower, a washbasin and a bidet. There is a separate toilet into the hallway. The nearest subway stations are Porte Maillot (L1, and RER C). The building's central heating systems provides heat and hot water for the apartment.
