Neighborhood: This apartment is located in the heart of one of the most select Paris districts, Ile Saint Louis. This apartment is in the same neighborood than PA 3403.They can be rented at the same time. The quiet quays and aura of the past that pervade this area provide a charming backdrop to the harmony of the close-packed houses and leisurely little cafés. Along the island's main street, Rue Saint-Louis-en-l'Ile, there are numerous quaint shops, cozy crêperies, and smart restaurants, often in vaulted cellars, an attractive setting for an elegant meal. Just beside the Ile de la Cité and Nôtre Dame Cathedral, it is also near the Hotel De Ville, the Quartier Latin and the Panthéon. Premises: This 40m² (approx. 430 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fifth and last floor (sixth in the USA) of a 17th century walk-up building. The main gate is protected by a coded security system. The apartment has a southern exposure and is equipped with a Wi-Fi Internet connection. It is decorated in an antique style and there are exposed ceiling beams in each room. Layout: The entrance door opens directly into the living room; on the left a double door opens into the bedroom and on the right a French window gives access to the sunny terrace. The kitchen links the bedroom and the bathroom. The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) living room has a French window and a window overlooking the street and offering a view of the Notre Dame Cathedral. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, antique-style armchairs, a dining table with chairs, a sideboard, built-in closets and a cable flat screen TV with a DVD player. The living room also has an air conditioner. The French window overlooks a terrace (southern exposed) furnished with a table with matching chairs, an armchair and an electric barbecue. The 8m² (approx. 85 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, a bedside table and an antique-style chest of drawers. The kitchen has a window and is equipped with two electric burners, a refrigerator, a freezer, a combo microwave/grill oven, a small dishwasher, a washing machine, a toaster, a coffee maker and a kettle. The white tiled bathroom has a window, a shower, a washbasin and a toilet. The nearest metro station is Pont Marie (line 7). Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
