Lovely one-bedroom apartment in the Marais area

Neighborhood:
The historical Marais has a special atmosphere because of its pre-Revolution architecture, its exclusivity and its proximity to so many of Paris' famous monuments and sights. It includes a substantial number of points of interest such as the royal Place de Vosges, the home of Victor Hugo (at number 6), and the Beaubourg area and Pompidou Center, one of Paris' most visible structures and its museum for modern art. There are art galleries, design shops, trendy bars and restaurants, and other types of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 45mē (approx. 480 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the ground floor of an 18th century building. An intercom and a concierge protect the main entrance gate, which leads to a courtyard and a lovely private garden. This courtyard gives access to the second entrance gate.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into the living room and then the separate kitchen is on the right. On the left is the bedroom and then the bathroom with a toilet.
The 18mē (approx. 190 sq. ft.) living room has a window overlooking the street with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa, a sofa, a console with a cable flat screen TV, a DVD player and a stereo. There is also a dining table with three matching chairs, a desk with a chair, a phone, ADSL Internet access and a chest of drawers.
The 11mē (approx. 115 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window overlooking the courtyard with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables with lamps and an alarm clock, a phone, a chest of drawers, a sofa, a built-in closet with a vacuum cleaner, and an iron with an ironing board.
The separate kitchen is equipped with four electric burners, a refrigerator/freezer, a washer/dryer, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The marble bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilet, a bidet and closets.
The nearest subway station is St Paul - Le Marais (L1).
Heat is collective and hot water is electric and individually metered.
