This apartment is located in the heart of one of the most select Paris districts, Ile Saint Louis. The quiet quays and aura of the past that pervade this area provide a charming backdrop to the harmony of the close-packed houses and leisurely little cafés. Along the island's main street, Rue Saint-Louis-en-l'Ile, there are numerous quaint shops, cozy crêperies, and smart restaurants, often in vaulted cellars, an attractive setting for an elegant meal. Just beside the Ile de la Cité and Nôtre Dame Cathedral, it is also near the Hotel De Ville, the Quartier Latin and the Panthéon.
Premises:
This 27m² (approx. 290 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the fourth floor (fifth in the USA) of a 19th century building equipped with an elevator. An intercom protects the main entrance gate.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into the living room and an open kitchen; straight ahead are the bathroom and the toilet.
The 24m² (approx. 250 sq. ft.) living room has two windows overlooking the street and the Seine River with a southeastern exposure. It is furnished with a trundle bed, a bedside table, an armchair, a coffee table, a built-in closet, a closet, a chest of drawers, a decorative fireplace, a small table, two chairs, a phone and a console with a cable TV, a DVD player, a stereo and ADSL
Internet access.
The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a refrigerator/freezer, a combo washer/dryer, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The bathroom has a tub and showerhead, a washbasin, a toilet and some closets.
There is also a fan, an iron with an ironing board, and a vacuum cleaner.
The nearest subway station is Pont Marie (L7).
Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
