Neighborhood: Close to the wide Place de la Nation, this mostly residential district is located a few metro stations away from the legendary Place de la Bastille, providing many different entertainment options such as the new Opera House, cinemas, gorgeous restaurants and pubs, plus trendy and other diverse stores. All conveniences such as markets, supermarkets, drugstores, and other shops are easily found in the neighborhood. Premises: This 44m² (approx. 470 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (third in the USA) of a 20th century walk-up building. A coded security system protects the main entrance gate. It opens onto a courtyard leading to the building. Layout: The entrance door opens into a small hallway; straight ahead are the separate kitchen and the bathroom. To the left is the toilet and to the right are the bedroom and the living room. The 17m² (approx. 180 sq. ft.) living room has one window overlooking the street with a northern exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, a dining table with four matching chairs, a high speed Internet connection (upon request) and a console with a TV and a DVD player. The 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) bedroom also has a window overlooking the street with northern exposure. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, two bedside tables and some shelves. The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four electric burners, a washing machine, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a washbasin. There is a separate toilet. The nearest metro station is Nation (L1,2,6,9, RER A). Heat and hot water are both electric and are individually metered.
