Studio apartment located between St. Germain and the Luxembourg Garden
|
Neighborhood:
Set in one of the most attractive and historic areas of the Left Bank and parallel to the north side of the exceptional Luxembourg Garden and the Palais du Luxembourg, this street is in short walking distance to Saint Germain des Près, the Seine, and to the Quartier Latin. Nearby are the select open-air market of the rue Buci, and the famous Deux Magots and Café de Flore, both favorite haunts of existentialists and expatriated American literate back in the day. There are elegant boutiques, cinemas, fine restaurants, cafes, and all sorts of convenience shops in the neighborhood.
Premises:
This pleasant 24m² (approx. 258 sq. ft.) studio is located on the fourth floor of an 18th century building renovated in 2006 ; it has an elevator. A coded security system and a part-time concierge protect the main entrance gate. It opens onto a nice courtyard with access to the building entrance, protected by a visio-intercom. The apartment has a southern exposure and a teak floor. It has also a Wifi Internet connection.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows overlooking the courtyard. It is decorated in a contemporary style and is furnished with a double-size bed, a round dining table with armchairs, shelves with a cable flat screen TV and a DVD player. There is also a built-in closet with a safety coffer and a wardrobe.
The open kitchen is stylish in a contemporary way. It is equipped with two vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood, a small refrigerator, an oven, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The designer bathroom is equipped with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
The nearest metro stations are Odeon (line 4 & 10), and Luxembourg (RER B).
Hot water is collective and Heat is electric.
