Studio in the République area

Neighborhood:
This studio is located next to the lively Republique area, one of Paris' multi-cultural neighborhoods preferred by many intellectuals and artists. Very central, it is five minutes by metro to Place de la Bastille and to Place des Vosges in the Marais. There are a lot of transportation options in this area, not only the numerous metro lines but also bus service, and plenty of diverse services such as shops, cinemas, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets.
Premises:
This 22m² (approx. 235 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the fourth floor (fifth in the USA) of an 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system. It opens into a corridor that leads to the courtyard where the staircase is located.
The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows with shutters overlooking the courtyard with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a small table with two chairs, an armchair, a TV and a DVD player.
The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a refrigerator and a washing machine.
The bathroom contains a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
There is also a closet and a window in the entrance corridor.
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
A wireless internet connection is available
The nearest metro stations are line 11 (Goncourt) and line 3 (Parmentier).
