Neighborhood: The intellectual core of Paris, the Quartier Latin abounds with historical points of interest such as the Sainte Chapelle, the Law Courts (built under Saint Louis from 1241 to 1248), Cluny's Thermae (from the third century) Hotel (from the 15th century) and Museum (from the 19th century), among others. In addition, the Seine, Notre Dame, and the Boulevard Saint-Germain are in short walking distance and a block and a half away is the Sorbonne. A large variety of nice shops, celebrated restaurants and cafes, cinemas, plus basic services such as supermarkets are in this neighborhood. Premises: This 70m² (approx. 750 sq. ft.) charming two-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a recently constructed building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and it opens into a paved courtyard; this leads to a glass door protected by an intercom opening into a corridor with an elevator. The apartment is north exposed and has an Internet connection. The entrance door opens into a corridor leading to the 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) living room, which is furnished with a sofa bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, a sideboard, and a dining table with chairs. This room is equipped with a TV, a stereo and a phone. It is decorated in an antique style highlighted by exposed beams. The French doors open onto a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. Behind a bar is the open kitchen, which has four vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood, an electric oven, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee maker. The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) first bedroom has a window with curtains that looks into the living room. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables and a closet. Next to this bedroom, a door leads to the 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) second bedroom. It also has a small glass opening that looks into the living room. The room is furnished with two single-size beds and a closet. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and a washbasin. The separate toilette is accessible through the living room. Heat and hot water are both electric. The nearest metro station is Cluny-La Sorbonne (line 10).
