Cozy studio in the heart of the Quartier Latin
|
Neighborhood:
The intellectual core of Paris, the Quartier Latin abounds with historical points of interest such as the Sainte Chapelle, the Law Courts (built under Saint Louis from 1241 to 1248), Cluny's Thermae (from the third century) Hotel (from the 15th century) and Museum (from the 19th century), among others. In addition, the Seine, Notre Dame, and the Boulevard Saint-Germain are in short walking distance and a block and a half away is the Sorbonne. A large variety of nice shops, celebrated restaurants and cafes, cinemas, plus basic services such as supermarkets are in this neighborhood.
Premises:
This 29m˛ (approx. 310 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the fourth floor of a postwar building. The main entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a paved courtyard leading to a glass door with an intercom; few steps lead to a corridor and the elevator. The apartment is east exposed and has an Internet connection.
The entrance door opens directly into the 20m˛ (approx. 215 sq. ft.) main room, which is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, a chest of drawers, and a dining table with chairs. This room is equipped with a TV, a stereo and a phone. The French windows open onto a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. There is also a built-in closet.
In an alcove is the open kitchen, which has four vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a washer/dryer, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee maker.
The tiled bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilette. It is accessible through the living room.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
The nearest metro station is Cluny - La Sorbonne (line 10).
