Studio apartment in the heart of the Montorgueil area
|
Neighborhood:
Located near Rue Montorgueil, this charming studio apartment is a few minutes away from Les Halles in the heart of the famous Montorgueil area, with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes as well as other services. It is also in short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine, Notre Dame, the unique Ile Saint Louis, and to the majestic Louvre. From the adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the most historic parks in Paris, there is a fine perspective: the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe in one direction and the Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel and the glass pyramid of the Louvre in the other.
Premises:
This 26m² (approx. 275 sq. ft.) alcove studio apartment is located on the third floor (fourth in the USA) of an 1800s, well-maintained building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and it opens into a corridor leading to a second iron grid door with an intercom. This last door opens into a courtyard with an authentic 19th century staircase. The apartment faces the courtyards and is east and west exposed; it has beams, a parquet floor and painted walls.
The entry door opens directly into the living room and the open kitchen. The bathroom is located just to the left of the entrance door.
The 23m² (approx. 245 sq. ft.) living room is furnished with a single-size sofa bed, a coffee table (that can be easily turned into a dining table), an armchair, a built-in closet with mirrored sliding doors and, in a recess, a double-size bed. This room is equipped with a flat screen cable TV with a DVD player. A high-speed Internet connection is available.
The open kitchen is equipped with four vitro-ceramic burners topped by a cooker hood, a combo microwave/grill oven, a small refrigerator, a washer/dryer, a coffee maker, a toaster and an electric kettle.
The blue tiled bathroom is equipped with a shower, a washbasin, a toilette and an electric towel-drying rack.
Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
The nearest metro stations are Sentier (line 3) and Les Halles (RER A, B, D).
